| Dr. Paul Cates holds a B.A. in Psychology,
M.A. in Special Education: Teaching the Child with
Learning Disabilities, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and
Instruction. Today Dr. Cates' ministry takes him all over
the world to aid parents in the education of their
children, primarily homeschoolers. The main focus of his
work is the educational evaluation of children to
determine an individualized curriculum.
Some of the topics covered will be:
* Having a "Home School
Program" instead of a regular school program in your
home.
* Curriculum to teach science in grades 2 - 8 together.
* Use of manipulative in the teaching of math.
* What do those achievement test scores really mean?
* Understanding independent, instructional, and
frustration levels.
* Help for you child with special needs. Developing your
child's talents.
* Developing a good reading program.
* Developing a solid language arts program.
* Developing thinking skills for your children.
* Discussing new materials available.
